The Author

I’m Chris, the creator and author behind Yu Bites. I believe food is a common denominator that links all of us together. I’m a child of immigrants and grew up in my family’s Chinese restaurant.

Previously I lived in NY (and still frequently travel there) but now I spend most of my days in the 206, and occasionally the 509. I’ve seen firsthand how dominant culture has transformed neighborhoods and communities I care about, and I feel it’s my responsibility to let others know just how fucking delicious subculture can be.
